POSITION DESCRIPTIONS:

General Manager ($50K - $60K per year plus monthly bonus)

Experienced Retail Sales Managers – do you love cars and are you looking for a unique opportunity to run and develop a retail store in a growing company? We’re looking for you! RimTyme Custom Wheels and Tires is looking for experienced General Managers to join our retail management team running one of our custom automotive parts stores. Since 2005, RimTyme has specialized in selling custom rims and tires, providing both direct sales and lease-to-own options for our customers.

As a General Manager, you will lead a team of store managers, responsible for providing a high level of service to customers in a retail location. We’re looking for confident individuals who are passionate and knowledgeable about achieving sales goals in a retail environment, with outstanding customer service skills, and who have a love for the automotive parts and accessories industry to include wheels and tires.

Additional responsibilities of the General Manager include:
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train new team members
  • Oversee all activities directly related to providing services, collections, and operations
  • Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale
  • Complete and turn in weekly inventory reports and inventory management
Successful candidates for the General Manager position are confident, with the ability to lead a retail team in meeting and exceeding operations and sales goals. Someone with prior knowledge of custom wheels and tires or a willingness to learn will be successful in this role.



Requirements for the General Manager role include:

  • High School Diploma and 2 years of college level work
  • Automotive Custom Wheel and Tire or Rent-To-Own Experience preferred
  • 3 years experience in retail management role
  • Proficient with basic computer skills

Sales Manager ($30K - $40K per year plus weekly bonus)

Consider yourself a car buff? Love car shows and spend your free time adding custom parts to your car? We’re looking for you! RimTyme Custom Wheels and Tires is looking for new Retail Sales Managers to join our team. Since 2005, RimTyme has specialized in selling custom rims and tires, providing both direct sales and lease-to-own options for our customers. As a Retail Sales Manager you will work with a team of store leaders, responsible for providing a high level of customer service to customers in a retail location.

We’re looking for individuals who are passionate and knowledgeable about automotive parts and accessories to include custom wheels and tires.
Our Retail Sales Managers are responsible for managing all aspects of customer service including greeting customers, assisting in customer purchase decisions and resolving issues as necessary.

Additional responsibilities of the Retail Sales Manager include:
  • Ensuring that the showroom floor is organized and merchandise is properly tagged at all times
  • Ordering a proper mix of inventory to keep storeroom stocked at all times
  • Assisting customers by helping them select wheels and tires that provide the best fit and look for the automotive make and model of their vehicle
  • Handling money and cash transactions as well as processing payments and credit card transactions
  • Updating social media accounts daily and weekly
  • Meeting weekly assigned sales goals
Successful candidates for the Retail Sales Manager role will have strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task and juggle shifting priorities found in a retail store.

Additional requirements of the Retail Sales Manager include:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Automotive experience dealing with custom wheels and tires (18" to 26") including size and fitment
  • Rent-to-own experience a plus
  • Excellent phone and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate in a Windows based environment

Delinquency Manager ($30K - $40K per year plus weekly bonus)

RimTyme Custom Wheels and Tires is looking for experienced Collections Managers to join our retail management team. Since 2005, RimTyme has specialized in selling custom rims and tires, providing both direct sales and lease-to-own options for our customers. As a Collections Manager you will work with a team of store leaders, responsible for providing a high level of service to customers in a retail location. We’re looking for individuals who are passionate and knowledgeable about credit account management with a love for the automotive parts and accessories industry to include wheels and tires.
As a Collections Manager you will be responsible for contacting customers to arrange satisfactory payment of expired agreements by telephone, text messaging, social media, mail, and in person.

Additional responsibilities of this role include:
  • Receiving and posting payments onto client’s accounts
  • Arranging for renewals of rental agreements
  • Answering general inquiries from customers regarding custom automotive parts and services
  • Reviewing credit agreements ensuring that proper information is listed
  • Handle field collections and schedule turn-ins

Successful candidates for the Collection Manager position are level headed, with the ability to stay calm in stressful situations while providing outstanding customer service. Someone with prior knowledge of custom wheels and tires or a willingness to learn will be successful in this role.

  • High School Diploma, 2 years of college level work
  • 2 years experience in a related collections role

Manager in Training (MIT) ($35K - $45K per year)

Tire Technician

The tire tech is a very important member of our team. They are responsible for mounting, balancing, and installing rims and tires safely onto vehicles as well as ensuring proper functionality of all shop equipment.


Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Removing, dismounting, and cleaning rims and tires
  • Tire repair
  • Tire rotations and balances
  • Installing and programming TPMS sensors
  • Unloading merchandise deliveries
  • Running errands for the business
  • Keeping a clean and organized work space

Recovery Specialist

The Recovery Specialist’s primary responsibilities are field collections of custom wheels and tires and making contact with customers who have expired rental agreements. The Recovery Specialist will report directly to the Delinquency Manager for route info daily.


Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Picking up payments
  • Mounting, balancing, and installing rims and tires safely onto vehicles
  • Removing, dismounting, and cleaning rims and tires
  • Tire repair
  • Tire rotations and balances
  • Installing and programming TPMS sensors
  • Running errands for the business
  • Keeping a clean and organized work space
